On 27th January Year 1 children spent a day preparing delicious treats for the Year One Café that opened at 3pm.

The treats let the children perfect their skills of creaming...

and of course taste testing!!

...but all the time they were practising essential life skills:
Maths in the form of capacity, weight and time
English in the recording and following of recipes
Social skills with team work and taking turns

Visitors arrived at 3 o'clock and were welcomed by the waiters and waitresses who served them...
