Eton End is an Independent Preparatory Day School
Eton End School is an Independent Preparatory Day School in a rural setting of over 6 acres on the outskirts of Datchet Village, close to Eton. Our school accommodates boys and girls aged three to seven, and girls aged seven to eleven.
Our origins go back to 1936 when the school was set up for Eton Masters’ children. Close links are retained with Eton College to this day.
The school stands for a solid foundation in education yet the importance of a happy and memorable childhood is never forgotten. High academic achievement and pastoral care are our strengths. We benefit from small classes which allow individual learning and encourage personal development.
The ISI Inspection Report noted that Eton End School is “a happy, caring and flourishing community where pupils from the Early Years Foundation Stage onwards receive high standards of education and are extremely well cared for”.
Eton End School consists of Nursery, Pre-Prep (Reception, Years 1 & 2) and Middle & Upper School (Years 3 to 6).
Eton End is a member of the IAPS and is a Charitable Trust.
As the next chapter in the school’s history unfolds, our Governors have confirmed that from September 2017 our boys will be staying at Eton End beyond Year 2. The current Year 1 boys will be our ‘trailblazers’ moving into Year 3 in 2017 and continuing through to Year 6.
